From tattoo idea to studio appointment.

INK FOUNDATION is a platform that connects people looking for tattoos with tattoo studios and artists.

A person can create a tattoo project with their idea, preferences and budget. Matching studios can review the project and submit an offer. The user can compare the available options, choose a preferred artist or studio and book through the platform.

The platform also supports tattoo studios and partner studios, allowing them to receive tattoo projects and manage their participation through the platform.

My Role

I joined the project as the technology partner responsible for turning the product concept into a working SaaS application.

The initial product idea and design direction were provided by the client. I worked with the team to translate that direction into a scalable product, while also identifying opportunities to improve the experience during implementation.

Improving the productwhile building it.

The initial product direction and design were already defined when development started.

As the product evolved, I identified areas where the experience could be made more intuitive and professional. This led to refinements beyond the original implementation, including UI/UX improvements and a smoother overall user journey.

I defined the overall technology structure and architecture and led major frontend development, while working with the backend developer responsible for APIs, chat functionality, notifications and other backend capabilities.
